Sleisswig Slyboots

Starting off in 2493 as the Sleisswig Scramblers, nearly half the lineup was wiped off the pitch by plague in their first Altdorf Altbowl against the Skavenblight Scramblers who held a grudge for the Sleisswiggians stealing their name. The survivors spent the rest of the season developing the underhanded tactics and unexpected plays the team would eventually become known for, to compensate for their lack of manpower. By the turn of the century, the Sleisswiggers were known as Slyboots by fans. Shortly after the team took up the name officially.
